is focused on high-priority issues that significantly impact Tennessee's
agricultural economy

Summary of Experience
After receiving his Ph.D., Dr. Klindt taught agricultural economics at
Louisiana State University for three years. He joined the UT Experiment
Station in 1974 as an assistant professor of agricultural economics, becoming
a full professor in 1981. After serving as Associate Dean of the UTK Graduate
School, he was appointed Assistant Dean of the Tennessee Agricultural
Experiment Station in 1986. Dr. Klindt has served as Associate Dean since
1990.

Summary of Experience
After receiving his M.S., Dr. Mote worked as a project engineer for a
major petroleum producing company for four years. He returned to graduate
school in 1972 and was awarded a Ph.D. in 1974. He then taught and conducted
research as a faculty member of the Agricultural Engineering Department
at the University of Arkansas for nine years. Dr. Mote joined the Tennessee
Agricultural Experiment Station as an associate professor of agricultural
engineering in 1983, and was promoted to professor in 1988. He was appointed
Head of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department July 1,
1995 and served in that capacity through June 30, 1999. He became Assistant
Dean of the Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station July 1, 1999.
