Joining Community of Science
- Go to www.cos.com
- Click on "Join" in the header.
- Click the "Join" button in the middle of the page.
- Fill in the appropriate information on the form that comes up. (NOTE: Be sure to go to the "*Institution" pull-down menu and select the University of Tennessee.
- Click "Continue" and fill in the forms on the next few pages.
- About the third or fourth page in, you will come to a page that will allow you to enter research interests, etc.
- On that page you will also establish a user name and password.
- Complete the appropriate fields and click "I Agree. . ."
That should do it.
You'll need to do some other things at your choice -- for example, select to receive "funding alerts" and also enter your vita (I recommend doing both) -- but the above steps will get you started.
