March Spring Blooms
March issues in a burst of spring blooms, some of which are shown here. Bloodroot is abundant in the Arboretum Wildflower Garden. Hepatica is one of the earliest flowers seen along Arboretum trails. Rue Anemone occurs in many places, and Spicebush is present along Scarborough Creek and in the Wildflower Garden. Star Magnolia hybrids are found in the Magnolia Orchard, and a specimen of Chinese Quince is part of the Shade Tree Collection.
